Meet Yvonne: The Glue That Binds 

The day in a life of Yvonne, our incredible Operations Manager who’s been weaving the threads of our organisation into a seamless tapestry of success. With a career spanning over two decades as an Accountant in practice, Yvonne brings a unique blend of skills to her role that have transformed our operations beyond imagination. 

However, beneath this professional veneer lies a compelling narrative that transcends the ordinary. In 2022, Yvonne’s life undertook a transformative turn with an ADHD diagnosis. With an unwavering resolve, she has transformed this experience into an opportunity for introspection, dedicating herself to fostering awareness and understanding of neurodiversity within our evolving community. 

Mastering Microsoft 365: Yvonne’s Game-Changer 

As she stepped into her role at iThink 365, Yvonne’s relationship with Microsoft 365 evolved from something she had previously used for many years and thought she utilised fully to a tool to a powerful ally and strategic tool. This suite of applications became her secret weapon for seamless coordination, open communication, and enhanced efficiency. Microsoft Outlook, Planner, Teams and OneNote have become her trusty companions, enabling her to plan her days meticulously, prioritise tasks, and effortlessly collaborate with teammates. 

A Day Well-Designed 

With her newly acquired Microsoft 365 skills and experience, Yvonne crafts her days with precision. Through Teams, she remains seamlessly connected with her team members through video calls and chat, while simultaneously sharing documents with ease. The Intranet offers her an organised hub for disseminating information, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team and customers are on the same page.  

“Teams has become my best friend. It not only enables me to work and communicate efficiently with staff members and customers but also to have that important social interaction with team members. I use it daily to check in with the team on a personal level which is so important when working in a remote environment.” says Yvonne 

Power of SharePoint and Teams 

In the world of document collaboration, Microsoft SharePoint shines. Yvonne alongside the team can track changes and collaborate simultaneously on documents, and even use features like team polls “We had a poll to name this newsletter and offered a prize to the winner. We’ll also use polls soon to get an idea of what the team would like to do for Xmas Do” says Yvonne. Also, let’s not forget the transformation from paper notes to the organised digital haven of Microsoft OneNote, where Yvonne seamlessly organises information across different tabs, ensuring nothing is missed.  

“My reliance on notes and lists due to my ADHD is paramount to me being efficient and not forgetting things. Lists have become one of my main coping mechanisms throughout my life.  One Note enables me to keep my vital notes in order and makes them easily accessible. Working remotely means my time speaking to Simon (iThink 365 Founder) is often limited so one of the things I use One Note for is to keep a list of things I need to speak to Simon about. I also use it to keep a track of potential partners I have contacted and their responses.” – says Yvonne  

Unveiling Insights with Microsoft Viva 

Yvonne’s pursuit of Microsoft 365 proficiency has culminated in the harnessing of insights via Microsoft Viva. Microsoft Viva has empowered her to unlock peak productivity, enabling her to block out focused time, prioritise learning, and nurture her growth. Armed with data and insights, Yvonne steers her days with clarity and purpose. 

“Viva Insights helps me organise my day the way that suits me. If I become hyper focused which I often do, it reminds me to take a break or that I have something else I should be concentrating on. This is so good for me as I often can get my head stuck in something and not be aware of anything else that’s going on. Viva Engage is great for the team and sharing work wins and personal wins.” says Yvonne
